Jo Anne Mincy was named the most outstanding player on the 1979 Leesburg High junior varsity volleyball team, Coach Hugh Parrish recently announced.
Other award winners on the JV's 20-2 squad include: Karen Rutschow and Rhonda Gray, best servers; Lynette Freitag and Rutschow, best passers; Gray and Nancy Harvey, best setters; Freitag and Mincey, best Spikers; Gray and freitag, best blockers
Freshman Janet Lynum was named the most improved player.
