11 Student-Athletes Earn Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athlete roster and the list included 11 student-athletes from seven different Sun Conference institutions. Southeastern led the way with three honorees followed by St. Thomas and Warner with two and Embry-Riddle, Florida Memorial, SCAD Savannah and Webber International with one each.

In order to qualify for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award, student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
